Rangers Corner

On Saturday 8th October 2016, Ranger and Senior Guides from various companies met at St. Joseph’s Convent, San Fernando’s Auditorium in order to work on the IDG 2016 #TeamGirl badge activities.

All guides present were put into one of four groups (Sri Lanka, Malawi, Bolivia or Tunisia).

Four Ranger Guides were appointed as group leaders. Each group leader was responsible for giving a summary of the amazing things done by one of the WAGGGS five champions, informing the group of one Global Goal and facilitating an activity from either the Team Discover, Team Build, Team Action or #TeamGirl section of the programme.

At the end of the day, each Ranger and Senior Guide present completed one activity from each section of the programme in order to earn the IDG 2016 badge. Also, the guides viewed one of the videos suggested by WAGGGS “The World’s Largest Lesson” to wrap up the evening’s activities.
